Helicopter tour terms and cancellations
Last updated 2 November 2026
The short version
- Aerotopia sells sightseeing helicopter flights from Atlantis, The Palm and HeliDubai on bloomtopia.ae. It is run by Bloomtopia Flowers – L.L.C – S.P.C. We're an independent seller, not the helicopter operator.
- You pay the price shown, in UAE dirhams, VAT included. Your e-ticket arrives by email once your payment goes through.
- Cancel at least 48 hours before your flight for a full refund, or 48 to 24 hours before for 50% back. Less than 24 hours before, we can't refund.
- If the operator cancels your flight, for bad weather or any other reason, you choose another date or time, or a full refund.
- To cancel or ask for a refund, email [email protected] or WhatsApp us with your booking reference.
1. Who we are
Aerotopia is the helicopter tour service of Bloomtopia on bloomtopia.ae, run by Bloomtopia Flowers – L.L.C – S.P.C, a company licensed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi Economic Licence No. CN-5666456). You can reach us at [email protected] or on +971 58 570 1004.
We are an independent seller. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Atlantis, The Palm, Kerzner International, Falcon Aviation, HeliDubai or Dubai Police. Their names belong to their owners.
2. About these terms
These terms apply when you book a helicopter flight on bloomtopia.ae/dubai-helicopter-tours. By completing a booking you accept them, together with our privacy policy. Please read them before you book. Other tickets sold on bloomtopia.ae have their own terms.
3. What we sell
We sell sightseeing helicopter flights from the helipads at Atlantis, The Palm and HeliDubai: seats on a shared flight, or a private helicopter. Flights are supplied through our booking partner, Traveldesk, and flown by the helicopter operators. The operator runs the flight itself, including the route, the briefing and safety.
4. Prices and payment
- Shared flights are priced per person; a private helicopter has one price for the whole helicopter. Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and include VAT. Prices shown in US dollars are a guide only; you pay in AED.
- Children under 2 can't fly. Everyone from 2 needs their own seat at the full price.
- You pay at checkout by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The checkout is provided by Traveldesk and payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your payment is taken by our booking partner, so your card or bank statement may show their name rather than Bloomtopia.
- If a price on our site is obviously wrong, for example because of a typing mistake, we may cancel the booking and refund you in full.
5. Your booking and e-ticket
- Your booking is confirmed when your payment is accepted. Your e-ticket is then emailed to you. If it hasn't arrived within an hour, check your spam folder, then email us.
- Please check your helipad, flight, date, time, number of passengers and email address before you pay.
- Bookings are for your personal use and may not be resold.
6. Your flight day
- Flights are for the date and time you choose at checkout.
- Please check in at the helipad you booked (Atlantis, The Palm or HeliDubai) 45 minutes before your flight with your original passport or Emirates ID. Copies aren't accepted.
- Each shared seat takes up to 110 kg; a heavier passenger needs a second seat. A private helicopter takes up to 450 kg in all at Atlantis and 400 kg at HeliDubai.
- Passengers who arrive late, without ID or over these limits may not be able to fly, and the flight isn't refundable in that case.
- The operator decides on the day whether it's safe to fly. Flights can go ahead in reduced visibility.
7. Cancellations and refunds
- You cancel. Cancel at least 48 hours before your flight and we refund you in full. From 48 to 24 hours before, we refund 50%. Less than 24 hours before, we can't refund.
- The operator cancels. If your flight is cancelled by the operator, for bad weather or any other reason, you choose another date or time, or a full refund.
- We couldn't deliver your e-ticket. If it hasn't arrived and we can't send you a valid one, we refund you in full.
- You were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount. We refund the extra amount.
We can't give refunds for:
- arriving late, coming without your original passport or Emirates ID, or being over the weight limit without an extra seat, if the operator can't fly you;
- haze limiting the view on a flight that goes ahead;
- cancelling less than 24 hours before your flight, or not turning up.
Your rights under UAE consumer protection law are not affected by this policy.
8. How to cancel or ask for a refund
Email [email protected] or WhatsApp us with your booking reference, the name and email address used for the booking, and what you'd like to do. To cancel, please contact us before the 48- or 24-hour mark. For any other refund, please contact us within 14 days of your flight date. We aim to reply within two working days.
9. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, for the amount you paid. Because your payment was taken by our booking partner, the refund may show under their name on your statement. After we've processed a refund, your bank may take 5 to 10 working days to show it. We can't refund to a different card or in cash.
10. Payment disputes
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. It's usually the quickest way to put it right.
11. Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for selling you a valid booking and getting your e-ticket to you. The operator is responsible for the flight itself, including its aircraft, crew and safety.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather or restrictions ordered by the authorities, but section 7 explains what happens if your flight is cancelled.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UAE consumer protection law, or any liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your booking.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. If we can't settle a problem together, the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction.
