A world record for slides
Yas Waterworld opened in 2013 and now has more than 70 rides, slides and attractions, including 55 waterslides, a Guinness World Records title. Eleven new attractions opened in April 2026, led by Matamir's Drop, the tallest waterslide in the UAE at over 40 m.

Race your friends side by side, then take on Matamir's Drop, the UAE's tallest waterslide at over 40 m.

Yas Waterworld is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, next to Ferrari World and Yas Mall.
From Dubai
About 1 hour 30 minutes by car or taxi from Dubai via the E11 towards Abu Dhabi; take the Yas Island exit. Leave extra time on Friday and weekend evenings.
Within Abu Dhabi
About 25 minutes by taxi from downtown Abu Dhabi and 10 minutes from Zayed International Airport. Parking on Yas Island is free.

Best time to visit Yas Waterworld
- October to April is the most comfortable time, when it's warm but not too hot.
- Weekdays near opening have the shortest queues.
- Check the hours the day before. They change with the season and some days are ladies only.
- Allow 5 to 6 hours.
Know before you go
- Proper swimwear only. No underwear, see-through clothes, jeans, long trousers, zips or metal fasteners.
- Swim nappies for babies; regular ones aren't allowed (swim nappies are sold inside).
- No outside food, drink, coolers or glass.
- Lockers and free life jackets are inside; no inflatables.
- Children 11 and under must be with an adult with a ticket. Big slides have height limits.

Our ticket costs AED 265 per person aged 3 and over, VAT included, AED 30 less than the park's own price of AED 295. Children under 3 go free.
Do I need to book a date or time?
No. The ticket is open-dated: go on any day the park is open, up to 30 May 2027. Just show your e-ticket at the gate.
What are Yas Waterworld's opening hours?

Do children need a ticket?
Children under 3 go free. From age 3, children need a ticket. Our ticket is one price for everyone aged 3 and over. The park also sells cheaper junior tickets at its own counter for children under 1.1 m, so for small children it's worth comparing.
What should I wear?
Proper swimwear. Underwear, see-through clothes, jeans, long trousers, and clothes with zips or metal fasteners aren't allowed. Babies need swim nappies.
Are all the rides open?
Some rides close for maintenance. In October 2026, Dawwama and Falcon's Falaj are closed until further notice and a few others until November.
How do I get my tickets?
Your e-ticket is emailed to you straight after payment. Show it on your phone at the entrance.
