Time with the dolphins
Dolphin Bay is in Atlas Village inside Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm. Each session starts with check-in, changing and a safety talk with a marine mammal specialist. On the Encounter and the Swim you then spend 30 minutes in the water; the Meet and Greet keeps you dry at the pool's edge.

Meet and Greet
Stay dry: the dolphins come to the edge of the pool. With a look behind the scenes at how they're cared for, and a printed photo. For all ages.
Dolphin Encounter
Stand waist-deep in the water with a marine mammal specialist and join a training session. For all ages and swimming abilities.
Dolphin Swim
Swim in deep water with mask and snorkel alongside the bottlenose dolphins. For confident swimmers aged 8 and over.

Arrive 15 minutes early
Your time is for check-in, not the start in the water. Bring photo ID in the name on the booking; anyone 15 minutes late counts as a no-show.
Show it at Aquaventure
Show your e-ticket at the Aquaventure ticket counter, then follow the signs to Atlas Village. Stay for the waterpark afterwards.

How to get to Dolphin Bay
Dolphin Bay is in Atlas Village, inside Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm.
By taxi
Ask for Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm. From Dubai International Airport it takes 40 to 60 minutes.
By car
After the tunnel, turn right at the first roundabout to the Aquaventure car park; a shuttle takes you to the ticket plaza.
By monorail
The Palm Monorail runs again since July 2026; get off at Atlantis Aquaventure station.

Best time to visit Dolphin Bay
- Book a morning session and spend the rest of the day at Aquaventure.
- Arrive 15 minutes before your check-in time with photo ID.
- Remove jewellery and hair accessories before you go in.
- Book ahead: sessions have limited places.
Know before you go
- Swimwear only: one-piece, two-piece, rash guards, board shorts or burkinis. No cotton, jeans or street clothes.
- Under-12s must be with a paying adult (18+) who takes part, and each adult can bring at most two under-12s.
- The Swim is for confident swimmers aged 8 and over who can tread water and use a mask and snorkel.
- Pregnant guests can't take part in the Swim or the Encounter.
- No cameras or filming at Dolphin Bay.

How much is Dolphin Bay?
For days up to 19 December: Meet and Greet AED 649 per adult and AED 579 per child (3 to 7), Dolphin Encounter AED 789 and AED 709, Dolphin Swim AED 879 (age 8 and over). From 20 to 31 December prices are higher: AED 749, 889 and 1,089 per adult. All include the same day at Aquaventure.
What's the difference between the three?
On the Meet and Greet you stay dry at the edge of the pool while the dolphins come to you. On the Encounter you stand waist-deep in the water and join a training session. On the Swim you swim in deep water with mask and snorkel.
Is Aquaventure included?
Yes. Every Dolphin Bay experience includes free entry to Aquaventure Waterpark on the same day.
Do I need to book a date and time?
Yes. Pick the day and the check-in time when you book. The time is for check-in, not the start in the water, so arrive 15 minutes early.
How old do you need to be?
The Meet and Greet and the Encounter are for all ages and swimming abilities; children under 3 go free. The Swim is for confident swimmers aged 8 and over. Under-12s must be with a paying adult who takes part.
What should I wear?
