It has 18 immersive worlds made for photos and videos, from a laundromat whose washing machine opens onto a disco to a room of mirror balls, plus more than 50 game stations. Missions and games earn HyperCoin, which you swap for prizes inside. There are cafés and shops too.

How to get to House of Hype

House of Hype is on Level 1 of The Dubai Mall, in the Fountain Views part of the mall near the Chinatown area.

By metro

Take the Red Line to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station, then the air-conditioned Metro Link bridge into the mall.

By car

Park in Fountain Views parking (P3), the closest car park. Mall parking is free for the first hours, then charged.

By taxi

Ask for The Dubai Mall, Fountain Views entrance, and go up to Level 1.

Best time to visit House of Hype

Charge your phone before you go: every room is a photo.
Allow 60 to 90 minutes, more if you play the games.
Weekday mornings are the quietest.
Make a day of it with the Dubai Aquarium or the Burj Khalifa in the same mall.
