Real snow in the desert

Ski Dubai is a snow resort inside Mall of the Emirates, kept at about −2°C all year. Its 400-metre slope drops 85 metres, and the Snow Park at the bottom has toboggan runs, a tube run, giant zorb balls, a bobsleigh and a snow cavern. King and gentoo penguins live here too. Both of our passes include a jacket, trousers, boots, disposable socks and fleece gloves.

Rides can close for maintenance or crowds. The slope itself is for skiers and snowboarders at Intermediate Level 2 or above.

By metro

Take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates station, which links straight into the mall.

Park in the mall's car park and follow the signs to Ski Dubai.

Best time to visit Ski Dubai

Go early on a weekday for the shortest queues.
Wear long socks and a warm layer under the clothes they lend you, and bring a hat.
Allow 2 to 4 hours, with a hot chocolate break.
Choose Snow Plus if you want the slope or the zipline.

Know before you go

Children under 2 can't go in.
Children under 14 must be with someone over 16.
Helmets are compulsory for children under 13.
The slope is for Intermediate Level 2 skiers and snowboarders and above.
Zorb balls and the Mountain Thriller aren't for pregnant guests or people with back or neck problems.

How much are Ski Dubai tickets?

Our Snow Classic pass costs AED 239 per person (park price AED 265) and Snow Plus AED 289 (park price AED 325), VAT included. Both include winter clothes and gloves. Everyone aged 2 and over pays the same price.

What's the difference between Snow Classic and Snow Plus?

Snow Classic is a full day in the Snow Park with one chairlift ride. Snow Plus adds unlimited chairlift and Mountain Thriller rides, a locker, and either 2 hours on the slope (for Intermediate Level 2 skiers and snowboarders) or 2 rides on the Snow Bullet zipline.

Do I need to book a date?

No. The passes are open-dated: go any day until 10 February 2027 for Snow Classic or 24 February 2027 for Snow Plus. Just show your e-ticket at the entrance.

What are the opening hours?

From 10am on weekdays and 9am at weekends, until 11pm or midnight; last entry is about 10:30pm. Hours can change, so check Ski Dubai's site before you go.

What should I wear?

Jacket, trousers, snow boots, disposable socks and fleece gloves are included. Bring a hat, long socks and a warm layer. It's about −2°C inside.

Can young children go?

From age 2, at the same price. Children under 2 can't go in, children under 14 must be with someone over 16, and helmets are compulsory for under-13s.

Can I see the penguins?

The penguins live at Ski Dubai and you may see them around the Snow Park. A Penguin Encounter isn't included; it's booked separately at the park.

How do I get my tickets?

Your e-ticket is emailed to you straight after payment. Show it on your phone at the entrance.

How do I get there?

Ski Dubai is inside Mall of the Emirates. Take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates station, or a taxi to the mall.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable once booked, so check your plans before you buy. They're open-dated, so you can go any day up to the end date on your ticket.
