Dubai Miracle Garden is back for its 15th season. The garden calls it the world’s largest natural flower garden. Each season it rebuilds giant flower sculptures across 72,000 square metres of Al Barsha South. It opens only in the cooler months, so the season has a fixed end: this one closes on 31 May 2027.

This guide covers what’s new this season, when to go, what tickets cost and how to get there without a car.

What’s new in Season 15

The garden reopened on 8 October 2026. Its group CEO told Gulf News that the weather had pushed the opening back by a couple of weeks. The season runs until 31 May 2027, and the garden says it has more than 200 million flowers this time.

The big change this season is that the theme changes every week, a first for the garden. The early weeks mark Pink October, United Nations Day, UAE Flag Day and Diwali. Commemoration Day and Eid Al Etihad (UAE National Day) follow later. Expect live music, family entertainment and fitness sessions during the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

The garden’s free birthday tickets for UAE residents are also back. If your birthday falls during the season, you get two free tickets. You register on the garden’s website with your Emirates ID.

Opening hours and the best time to go

The garden is open every day from 9am to 9pm, with last entry at 8:30pm. Hours can change on public holidays and event days, so check the garden’s own website the day before you go.

The best time to arrive is about an hour before sunset. You see the displays in daylight, then again once the lights come on. From November to January the sun sets between about 5:30 and 6pm, so aim to arrive between 4:30 and 5pm. By April, sunset is closer to 6:30pm.

  • Quietest: weekday mornings.
  • Busiest: weekend evenings and public holidays, especially around UAE National Day on 2 December.
  • Hottest: midday in October and again from April. Go late in the day in those months.

Is the Butterfly Garden worth adding?

Dubai Butterfly Garden is right next door. It has ten domes with more than 15,000 butterflies, and it’s open all year from 9am to 6pm. It closes three hours before the Miracle Garden, so visit the butterflies first and finish with the flowers at sunset.

The combo costs AED 125 on Bloomtopia and covers both gardens. You can visit them on the same day or on different days before the ticket’s end date. If you have small children, it’s an easy add-on: the domes are indoors and air-conditioned, which helps on warmer afternoons.

Four displays to find

The displays change every season, but these favourites are worth looking for.

Heart-shaped arches of pink and purple petunias over a winding path
The heart tunnel. Arches of petunias bent into hearts along a winding path. It’s back for Season 15.
The floral clock with a flower-dress figure and floral houses behind
The floral clock. A giant clock face planted in flowers, ringed by the garden’s storybook houses.

How to get there

By Metro and bus. Take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates. Then catch RTA bus 105 from the Mall of the Emirates bus station. It runs to the garden roughly every 30 minutes.

By taxi or car. The garden is in Al Barsha South 3, reached from Umm Suqeim Road. There are free and paid parking zones next to the entrance.

Tips for your visit

  • Food and drink: outside food and drinks aren’t allowed. You can buy both inside.
  • Access: the paths are wheelchair- and stroller-friendly.
  • Comfort: wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be walking for two to three hours. Bring sun protection for daytime visits.
  • Photos: the hour before sunset gives the softest light.
  • Plan around holidays: the garden runs special events around national days, so expect bigger crowds then.

Is Dubai Miracle Garden worth it?

If you like flowers or photography, or you’re travelling with children, yes. Nothing else in Dubai looks like it, and the displays change every season, so it’s worth a return visit too. Go late in the afternoon, add the Butterfly Garden if you have kids, and give yourself at least two hours.
