IMG Worlds of Adventure calls itself Dubai’s largest indoor theme park. It sits at City of Arabia, on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, and everything is under one air-conditioned roof: Marvel rides, a valley of life-size dinosaurs, a Cartoon Network town and two big roller coasters.
Because it’s all indoors, it works in any month, and it’s open every day of the year. Here’s what’s on this winter, what tickets cost, which rides suit which heights, and how to get there without a car.
What’s new at IMG Worlds in 2026
- Ten years old. The park opened in August 2016. Its events calendar marked the anniversary with a 10 Years celebration from 25 August to 30 September 2026.
- Winter events. The park’s 2026 calendar lists Celebrate UAE from 1 to 22 November, Eid Al Etihad from 25 November to 6 December, and Winter World from 23 November 2026 to 15 February 2027. Check the park’s events page for what’s on.
- Global Village is open next door. Its 31st season opened on 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027, and RTA’s Global Village buses are running again. They’re the cheapest way to get close to IMG by public transport (see how to get there).
- New: Fast Track. Since 7 November 2026 we also sell IMG’s Q-Fast fast-track pass, for AED 199. It’s an add-on only, so you still need a park ticket (see ticket prices).
- Our ticket dates. Our AED 199 ticket works on any day until 16 January 2027, and our Fast Track passes until 24 February 2027.
Ticket prices for 2026
| Ticket | Bloomtopia | IMG’s own price |
|---|---|---|
| Day ticket, 1.05 m and taller | AED 199 | AED 365 |
| Day ticket + Dubai Butterfly Garden | AED 239 | — |
| Fast Track (Q-Fast) add-on, no park entry | AED 199 | — |
| Under 1.05 m | Free | Free |
Prices checked on 7 November 2026, VAT included. IMG’s own General Admission ticket is for a set date. Ours is open-dated, so you can go on any day until 16 January 2027, and for everyone 1.05 m and taller it costs AED 166 less. The e-ticket arrives by email straight after payment.
The ticket covers every ride and attraction except The Haunted Hotel, which costs extra. IMG Kids Zone, lockers and food are paid for inside. People of Determination get 50% off at the park’s own ticket counters with proof of disability (a helper pays the full price), so compare there if that applies to you.
Good to know: our Fast Track is IMG’s Q-Fast pass, for a shorter queue at the rides, and it’s an add-on only. It costs AED 199 per person but doesn’t get you into the park, so you need a park ticket as well. Book it as a separate order on the booking card. It works on any day until 24 February 2027, and it earns its price at weekends and in the school holidays, when the queues are longest. On a quiet weekday you may not need it.
Six worlds under one roof
The park covers about 1.5 million square feet, all of it air-conditioned, split into six themed worlds:
- Marvel: neon streets and the superhero rides, including Avengers Battle of Ultron, Spider-Man Doc Ock’s Revenge, Thor Thunder Spin and Hulk Epsilon Base 3D.
- Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure: life-size dinosaurs in a jungle, The Forbidden Territory and the park’s two big coasters, Predator and The Velociraptor.
- Cartoon Network: rides with The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball, in a town of crooked, colourful houses.
- IMG Boulevard: the main street, with shops, places to eat and the little Boulevard Express train.
- The Haunted Town: home to The Haunted Hotel, a walk-through scare maze, and the Haunted Café.
- IMG Kids Zone: an inflatable playground for small children.

The big rides
Every ride has a minimum height, set by the park. These are the headliners:
- The Velociraptor (1.30 m): a launch coaster that shoots out of Lost Valley’s jungle and, in the park’s words, “into the actual desert”.
- Predator (1.25 m): a coaster known for its beyond-vertical drop.
- Avengers Battle of Ultron (1.30 m, or 1.05 m with an adult): you ride alongside the original Avengers to take on Ultron.
- Spider-Man Doc Ock’s Revenge (1.20 m, or 1.05 m with an adult): help Spider-Man stop Doctor Octopus from stealing the city’s energy supply.
- Thor Thunder Spin (1.40 m): a spinning ride with the strictest height limit in the park.
- The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Robot Rampage (1.35 m, or 1.25 m with an adult): Cartoon Network’s thrill ride.
- Ben 10 5D Hero Time (1.30 m): a multi-sensory adventure at Plumber Headquarters.

For younger children
At IMG Worlds it goes by height, not age. Children under 1.05 m go free, and under-12s must be with someone aged 16 or over.
- Hulk Epsilon Base 3D (from 1.00 m) is a 360-degree 3D film in a dome cinema.
- The Dino Carousel (from 1.05 m) is a dinosaur-themed carousel in Lost Valley.
- With an adult from 1.05 m: Spider-Man, Avengers Battle of Ultron, Avengers Flight of the Quinjets, The Forbidden Territory, Adventure Time and The Amazing Ride of Gumball.
- Play areas: LazyTown (from 0.90 m), with Stephanie’s Dance School and Robbie Rotten’s lair; Dinosaurium, a sand play area for toddlers; and Adventure Fortress, a climbing playground.
- IMG Kids Zone, the inflatable playground, costs AED 50 for an hour or AED 100 for the day on top of the park ticket.
| Ride | Minimum height |
|---|---|
| Thor Thunder Spin | 1.40 m |
| The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Robot Rampage | 1.35 m (1.25 m with an adult) |
| The Velociraptor | 1.30 m |
| Avengers Battle of Ultron | 1.30 m (1.05 m with an adult) |
| Ben 10 5D Hero Time | 1.30 m |

Height limits from the park’s website, checked on 7 November 2026. Measure your children before you go.

The Butterfly Garden combo
Our combo adds a Dubai Butterfly Garden ticket to the IMG Worlds ticket for AED 40 more: AED 239 in total. Both tickets work on any day until 16 January 2027.
The Butterfly Garden is in Al Barsha South, right next to Dubai Miracle Garden. Its listing describes ten climate-controlled domes with more than 15,000 butterflies, open daily from 9am to 6pm. It’s about 30 minutes from IMG by car, so you could see the butterflies in the morning and still reach IMG for its noon opening. Most people visit on a different day, often with the Miracle Garden, which our Miracle Garden guide covers.
If your children would enjoy the butterflies, the combo is an easy add-on. If you won’t get to Al Barsha South before mid-January, stick with the standard ticket.
How to get to IMG Worlds of Adventure by bus, Metro or taxi
IMG Worlds is at City of Arabia on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), near Arabian Ranches and next to Global Village. There’s no Metro station nearby, and the park’s own directions mention only the taxi and coach stands outside its main entrance.
By bus. The cheapest way to get close is one of RTA’s Global Village buses, which run until May 2027. Route 106 leaves the Mall of the Emirates bus station every 60 minutes, 103 leaves Union bus station every 40 minutes, 104 leaves Al Ghubaiba every 60 minutes, and 102 leaves Al Rashidiya every 60 minutes. From Global Village, it’s a short taxi ride to IMG’s entrance. Reports this season put the fare at AED 10 to 12 one way, paid with a Nol card. The buses are timed for Global Village, which opens at 4pm, so check the first departure in RTA’s S’hail app if you’re aiming for IMG’s noon opening. They’re handy for the trip home.
By Metro. Each of those bus stations sits by a Metro station: Mall of the Emirates and Centrepoint (for Al Rashidiya) on the Red Line, Union on the Red and Green Lines, and Al Ghubaiba on the Green Line. Take the Metro to the one nearest you, then the bus. Or ride the Metro as far as suits you and take a taxi from there.
By taxi. It’s about 20 to 30 minutes from Downtown Dubai outside rush hour. Ask for IMG Worlds of Adventure, City of Arabia. Drivers drop you at the main entrance, where there’s a taxi stand for the way back.
By car. Take the E311 to City of Arabia and follow the signs. Parking is free, and valet parking costs AED 100 a day.
Tips for your visit
- Arrive at 12pm, when the doors open, and do the big coasters before the queues build.
- Go Monday to Thursday if you can. Weekends and school holidays are busier.
- Measure your children before you go, and check the height table above.
- Food and drink: outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, but there are 37 places to eat inside.
- Lockers cost AED 45 to 60 a day, depending on size.
- Bring a light layer. The air conditioning keeps the park cool all day.
- The Haunted Hotel is for ages 15 and over, and it costs extra.
- Make a day of it. Global Village is next door and opens at 4pm. Spend the afternoon on the rides, then go across for dinner. You’ll need a separate Global Village ticket.
Is IMG Worlds of Adventure worth it?
For families and thrill-seekers, yes, especially on a hot or rainy day. Everything is under one roof, the coasters are proper thrill rides, and younger children have their own rides and play areas. Our open-dated ticket costs AED 199, against AED 365 at the park. Arrive at noon, measure the children, add Fast Track if you’re going on a busy day, and save the evening for Global Village next door.

Yes. IMG's Q-Fast pass puts you in a shorter queue for the rides. Bloomtopia is an independent ticket seller and isn't affiliated with the attractions we write about. Opening hours, rides and prices can change, so check the attraction's own website before you go. Our prices include VAT and were correct on the date shown at the top of this guide.
